A Family Institution

Virtual Institute of Pharmacy Technology is family owned and operated. The Director of the pharmacy technician program is a registered pharmacist who holds a bachelors degree in pharmacy and a masters degree in pharmacology. She has practiced pharmacy in numerous settings for the past 20 years, and in so doing, has added practical depth to her impressive educational credentials. She has practiced in retail pharmacies and nursing homes; has served as a consultant and teacher, and was clinical coordinator of pharmacy services for the largest health system in New York. She is just one of the many skilled educators who make up our family and our company.

History

The family has owned and operated a vocational school for more than ten years with six licensed satellite campuses in New York and Massachusetts. The goal of the institute was to teach its students - expeditiously - the knowlege and skills required to embark on new careers in one of a number of different fields, from information technology to health care. In ten years the institute has graduated thousands of students who were ultimately placed in positions consistent with their career goals and educational track.
